Bible Sunday
We open the Word together.

A community of women who gather around God so we can live fully in all areas of our lives.
Anna was a widow. Eighty-four years old. And she never left the temple.
Night and day she worshipped. She fasted. She prayed. (Luke 2:37)
For how long? Years. Decades.
Then one day, a young couple walked in carrying a baby. She knew.
She was one of the first to recognize the Messiah. And she did not keep it quiet. She told everyone who was waiting. (Luke 2:38)
Anna was the daughter of Phanuel. Penuel. The face of God.
That is who we are. Women who gather around God. Women who stay at His feet until the answer comes. And keep staying after it does.
For a long time, the world has worked to tear women down. To isolate us. To overburden us. To plant doubt, and a quiet story that we come second.
He placed the power to bring forth life inside a woman. (Isaiah 66:7–8)
After the resurrection, He sent women to carry the news.
At a well in Samaria, one woman met Jesus and a whole town came running. (John 4)
When a woman is free, it touches everyone. Her children. Her marriage. Her workplace. Her church. Her city.

I did not see it coming. And for a season, everything slowed down.
But God was not caught off guard. He used the pause to quiet me.
And in the quiet, He gave me vision. Vision for women.
